On Monday, 24 November 2025 at the Freies Gymnasium Bern, Matthias Kyburz takes center stage for a talk about his impressive 5th place at the New York City Marathon and his journey from world-class orienteer to elite marathoner. As a guest you will hear how he adjusted his training from orienteering to marathon running, listen to anecdotes from his new life at the top of the marathon scene, and gain exclusive insights from the front pack in New York. The talk is followed by an apéro — the perfect moment to exchange ideas and let the evening end in a friendly atmosphere.
