The MANN-FILTER Zaragoza Marathon CaixaBank wants to place itself in the national top. To do this, this edition incorporates new features in the last third of the race that will make it faster, less demanding, more competitive in terms of brands. The start and finish line in the Plaza del Pilar is maintained, as well as the entire first part, which will take runners on a journey through the heart of Zaragoza. Along the banks of the Ebro, we will reach the Expo Zone 2008, we will pass several emblematic bridges ... and we will enter the city center, with a double passage through the axis Paseo de la Independencia, Plaza España and Plaza Aragón. It will be from the Wall when the changes begin. The passage through the Parque Grande José Antonio Labordeta, whose slopes and access complicated the final kilometers of the marathon runners, will be eliminated. Instead, we will follow the path of the Canal Imperial to Fuente de la Junquera, and then undo the run to launch us in a rapid descent towards the finish line, in the legendary Plaza del Pilar. A new route that promises to be the fastest in the history of the race and allow us to give an extra shine to the absolute Spanish Championship of the distance that will be held in Zaragoza.
