The Ibiza Half Marathon is an event promoted by the Ibiza Half Triathlon Sports Association, and is scheduled for April 20, 2024 with departure scheduled for 6:00 p.m. from San José. The event has the support of the Consell d'Eivissa, as well as the municipalities of Ibiza and San José, who join as sponsors.
The layout of this outstanding sporting event is approved by the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation (RFEA). Thanks to this approval, it has been included in the Spanish national calendar as International category I. The supervision of the judges of the Athletics Federation of the Balearic Islands guarantees the integrity of the competition.
The race, which will attract nearly a thousand athletes, will open in San José and will travel through emblematic points such as Cala Jondal or Sa Caleta, culminating its route in the center of Ibiza city. The completion of the race will give way to an event in Vara del Rey, full of sports exhibitions, musical performances and opportunities to enjoy, specially designed for both athletes and their companions.
