The Frankfurt Mainova Half Marathon, as Hessen's largest half marathon, is gearing up for its next edition on March 17, 2024. Around 8,000 runners gather in Frankfurt every year to collectively conquer the 21.0975 kilometers.
The reason for this success: The flat, officially measured course is 100% asphalt, providing both hobbyists and elite runners with the optimal foundation for achieving personal best times. Additionally, there's the legendary finish into the stadium of the Deutsche Bank Park.
Traditionally, the Frankfurt Mainova Half Marathon marks the start of Hessen's upcoming running season as one of the first events of the year. Furthermore, it serves as the opening for Frankfurt's endurance sports series "Frankfurt Hero" and is part of the scoring race "Rosbacher Main-Lauf-Cup".
