The largest running event in Finland, Helsinki City Run, fills the streets of Helsinki and the Helsinki Olympic Stadium. Around 20,000 runners from over 90 nations participate. The event offers six distance options, including Finland's largest half marathon, the Helsinki City Half, the legendary Helsinki City Marathon, the Helsinki City Marathon Relay, the fast 5 km Helsinki City 5, and the Helsinki City Double, which combines a marathon and a half marathon. A Minimarathon for children is held on Friday afternoon, along with the Helsinki City 5 run and walk.
